Show Stoppers - Fantastic performances by the Performing Arts Department

On Wednesday 28th March Drama, Dance and Music pupils collaborated to give a show stopping performance, the first in our brand new building. The show celebrated the work pupils had accomplished during lessons and extracurricular clubs and the show proved to be a great hit with the audience.

Talented dancers opened the show with the current hit ‘This is me’ from the Greatest Showman, telling the world that they are individuals and are unique in their own way, while year 11 compere Michael Amajie successfully led the audience through an evening of spectacular performances from GCSE Drama performances, year 8 Djembe’s, the Speech and language club performing Martin Luther King’s famous ‘I have a drama’ speech, year 10 Duke of Edinburgh choreography, ‘Lost boys’ and many more fantastic performances.

A huge congratulations to year 10 pupils Nessica Subba and Harsh Bhabhu for their lighting designs on the evening.
