Woman in Black GCSE live Theatre Trip

In spring term, Year 11 GCSE Drama pupils watched the spine chilling performance of ‘The women in black’ ready for their final written exam in May.

The play follows the re-enactment of Arthur Kipps experience when working as a lawyer for an old estate at el Marsh House. Soon after his arrival, it becomes clear that the villagers are hiding a terrible secret.

Pupils were scared as the ghost story unravelled itself in the Fortune theatre, but were able to take notes of the production elements such as lighting, set design, costume, sound effects and how the elements communicate to an audience.
