The government has made Relationships and Sex education compulsory in all state-funded schools. We have followed the government statutory requirements in our policy, as well as making sure that we serve the particular needs of our community.

Parents have the right to withdraw pupils from sex education (but not from Relationships or Health Education). The process for doing this is set out in our policy.

We are beginning a period of consultation on the policy for a period of four weeks, concluding on January 13 2022 at 17:00. If you wish to make any comments or share any feedback on the policy, please email the Principal's PA:
