Exemplary Work from Year 11 students across the curriculum including Chemistry & Modern Foreign Languages

Our Year 11 scientists have been carrying out chemistry practicals in class, as they investigated the properties of crude oil. Then, they were made aware of the exciting career prospects in the field of chemical engineering.

In the picture below we have a Chemistry assessment by Krishna Maugi in 11 Spiers. Her focus during a reteach phase of the lesson meant she was able to take on board my advice and make great meaningful annotations and consequently get 5/5 marks for this question which is truly outstanding!

Year 11 French pupils spent this morning (35 minutes per class) practicing speaking in French with the exchange pupils, doing speaking exam tasks and questions with them. They worked really hard to prepare for this and generally did very well!
