On Wednesday 7 December, for the second year in a row, Year 10 History students had the opportunity to take part in a video call with staff and students from Warwick University’s History department.

Students heard from an Archivist, Librarian, and Undergraduate Student from the prestigious Russell Group university about how historians research and analyse primary sources. The session helped our budding historians to prepare for their upcoming unit on Whitechapel in the late 19th century and to experience analysing primary sources first-hand. Students also had the opportunity to ask the speakers about life at university and what it takes to be a successful historian.
