Overview
We believe that enrichment is an essential part of each child’s development as these clubs and activities allows pupils to build a range of skills and knowledge in an area outside their curriculum and broaden their fields and expertise. We know that pupils at this school are in direct competition for college and university places across the country and we believe that commitment to different enrichments will stand our pupils apart from their peers.
What does Enrichment look like at Elvin?
We are offering two types of clubs this year – electives and drop ins. Electives are clubs which pupils commit to every week for a term and get better at the skill e.g. learning the Guitar as part of our Elvin Band or improving their shooting skills at the Girls netball club. We also then off0er drop in clubs which are clubs that pupils can attend as and when e.g. Yoga club to help them relax when they need it on a Thursday after school.
We have 56 different clubs running at different times in the day including early mornings from 7:15am, lunchtime clubs and after school.
