The Elvin Carne scholarship is aimed at any pupil in Ark Elvin and was set up in loving memory of our police officer Steve Carne.
Pupils apply for the scholarship through an application form and successful applicants will get free instrumental lessons for the time they are at Elvin and will be bought a new instrument to practice on at home. We already have two pupils on the scholarship from last year and we had 14 new applicants for the scholarship this term.
We now have two more pupils who have joined the scholarship.
Our scholars 22 -23 are:
Glidon Cardozo (Year 8) - Piano
Daxita Devji (Year 9) - Piano
Melvia D'Costa (Year 7) - Violin
Margarida Ramos (Year 7) - Piano
"I am so thankful for the scholarship. I love playing piano and have learned so much from my lessons e.g. how to play with left and right hand. I like practicing my piano at home and when my parents see it make me so proud. I love having the scholarship"
