Team Performing Arts have had a great start to the academic year. We have been learning about Greek Theatre, Djembe drumming, the play East is East as well as creating tracks using Logic Pro. On top of this great work in lessons, we have been busy attending some wonderful Arts opportunities.
Some pupils in the department have begun the Ark Music Inspiring Excellence programme attending Saturday rehearsals as well as an overnight residential. Our Yr10 pupils have also attended the Ark Drama Day with other schools from the network, and our musicians in Y9 and 11 have attended the London Philharmonic Orchestra concert to watch pieces be played live by the orchestra.
We are looking forward to some more exciting events happening in the 2nd half of this term, including our Elvin winter showcase.
