Our Sixth Form is one of the very best in the country at supporting pupils to make incredible progress.
Over three quarters of our pupils achieved at least DDD – an incredible achievement!
Pupils will be going to a variety of top destinations including the University of Durham, Exeter and Queen Mary.
Individual pupil success included:
Aaliyah Khan-Bruce, 18, who achieved D*D*D* in Sport and Exercise Science and is going to study Computer Science at the Durham University.
Aaliyah joined Elvin in Year 7 and always had a passion for sport – participating in many enrichments and representing the school in football and basketball. Aaliyah faced many challenges along the way – but transformed herself when she joined the Sixth Form. Her determination to attend a Russell Group University drove her to become a model student. Her hard work led to her achieve Distinctions in all of her coursework units completed across her two years in the sixth form.
Aaliyah has graduated as the top performer in her cohort achieving D*D*D* - the highest possible grade that can be achieved.
Aaliyah said: “I feel great about these grades, this is one of the best days of my life! The teachers at Elvin really supported me in terms of supporting my UCAS application and encouraging me to apply to top universities.”
Bradley De Breganca (second from left), 18, who achieved D*D*D* in Applied Science and is going to study Biochemistry at Surrey University.
Bradley, who has been at Elvin for 7 years, has been an exemplary student throughout his time in the Sixth Form. His excellent attendance, behaviour and effort meant that he was always awarded Platinum status – the highest level of reward our pupils can achieve.
Bradley has graduated as the top performer in the science cohort.
Bradley said: “I’m really happy. Elvin’s Sixth Form has great resources for students and the teachers have really pushed me to succeed, ensuring that I had the things I needed to do well and go on to university.”
Valeska Fernandes (left), 19, achieved D*DD in Business and is now going to study Law at Royal Holloway University.
Valeska joined our Foundation Pathway in in Autumn 2023 having to retake English and Maths GCSE due to not securing a pass in Year 11.
During her foundation year Valeska passed both English and Maths through her hard work and determination, and graduated to our BTEC Level 3 business extended diploma in Autumn 2024
Valeska said: “Doing the 3 year Foundational Pathway course really helped me in terms of understanding my strengths and areas for development, and I’m now feeling really proud and excited at going to study Law at university.”

More than just outcomes – we are proud of the incredible young people our pupils have become – they are role models who had made a real difference for our community.
These results show that our bespoke Sixth Form is allowing pupils for whom A Levels are not the right qualification to achieve great outcomes and go to the very best universities and top apprenticeships.
