Team Elvin were celebrating a significant 8% increase in the number of pupils achieving a grade 4 or above in English and Maths, and a 10% increase in the number of pupils achieving a grade 5 or above in these subjects.
Pupils study GCSEs in a wide variety of subjects including English, Maths and Science, as well as an option subject like Art or Design Technology.
Pupils were supported by teachers to make the right next step. Many of our pupils are remaining within the Ark network to study a Professional Pathway here at Elvin and many are going to Ark Academy to study A Levels in a range of subjects.
Becky Curtis, Principal, said: ‘We are so proud of our Year 11 cohort. They have achieved results they can feel really proud of and reflect their hard work and determination. They are a fantastic group of young people who we know are going onto great things – at 6th form and beyond’.
