Brent West's MP, Barry Gardiner, has kindly offered our school to yet again join in the annual Christmas Card Competition that takes place across the borough. Here's a message from Barry:
Dear Ark Elvin Academy,
As you know, every year, as the Member of Parliament for Brent West, I send thousands of Christmas cards to constituents, colleagues and other Members of Parliament. This year, I would, again, like to invite pupils at Ark Elvin Academy to participate by submitting original drawings inspired by the Christmas story.
The competition is open to a number of schools within my constituency and I will choose the winning design. The winning design will be printed on the front of my card, with the winner’s name and school printed on the inside and on my official website. I will invite the author of the winning design and their parents to Parliament for afternoon tea.
We invite our students to take part in this competition - the deadline is 5th November, and your cards must be A5 size, with no 3D decorations as they will be scanned and printed. Good luck, and we can't wait to see your fabulous Christmas cards!
